I am trying to install a cooler on my tranny in my 94 GT Vert.
I have switched to Mercon V and did a few of the suggested upgrades to 1-2 and 2-3 pistons.
My problem is:
I have a barbed fitting that will fit into the upper fitting on rad.....got that one covered.
Problem is with the stupid 1/4" flare fitting on the hard tranny line.......I wanted to just screw a female barbed fitting onto the end of the tranny line that originally went into the rad......that way it hooks up to my 3/8" flex hose from cooler, and I didn't cut any lines, so if I ever need to take it out or put back to stock, I can.
Well.....I cannot find a damn fitting that will work! Napa guy said that Ford uses a special fitting on it....of course they don't stock it.....so what can I do????
