yo...my next door neighbors and my friends got in a huge fight last night and they trashed my roomates car and mine wont start..it looks fine and when i turn the key the starter turns but the engine wont turn over...im assuming its not sugar in the tank because the car never started at all...im not out of gas either....the hood wasnt open and nothing is immediately visable to me..yet the car wont start...has this ever happened to anyone or something similar...i'm not completly ignorant as to how my car works but i just cant figure out what these scumbags did to my car....oh and get this ****..if i cant say i saw them do it or give them exact names of who was involved...even though i know it was them....the cops here in nj wont do nothing because they say teh volume of crime in the city exceeds my problem so they wont do **** for me!!! i'm screwed and without full coverage insurance

That sucks! If they couldn't pop the hood open I would at the fuel lines maybe they pinched a line hope you find the problem.

i would pump the gas out, can never be too careful in a case like this. cause if they can't get into the engine bay, that rules out disconnecting any wires. and i'm pretty sure that they couldn't really get under the car to do anything serious. i would approach them and ask them what they did, the fun of doing it is over, so ask them candidly, they might tell you. i understand that is hard, but its worth a shot. how intelligent are they? would they know how to do anything major? also, now might be a good time to get an alarm of some kind, a locking gas cap is a good precaution also.

The fuel pump wiring is inside the rear bumper. It's just a pull connector. Anyone can get to it easily. Man I would still drain the fuel out of the car just for fear of something bad.

yo fellas...thanks for the replies but yer not gonna believe this...as it turns out...they didnt do anything to my car...the wire from the coil to the distributor was corroded and wouldnt start...crazy though that it happened the morning after a huge fight where my roomates car got a brick through the window and dented and side mirrors smashed off...2 of their dudes are hospitalized and my roomates car is gonna be fixed for free through insurance...i found a new place to park my car so all is well...thanks fellas
