Who gave you that wonderful idea? ;) That should work just fine. I would also clean the Xmember up and paint it afterwords.

How close are we to running?

lol, im not saying or gonna try to say. Yesterday and today i was up at 5:30(before the sun was up) working on it before i went in to work. The two biggest headaches were the headers which were not anticipated and the tranny which isnt has hard just gotta get it done. Then just bolting it back together. I need to get to a shop to have that D-pipe put together and welded on so im just working my ass off to get it done...im sick and tired of not havin my stang runnin :fuss:

my mount is an engery suspensions and it stated the spacer must be used to pre-load the mount. There are two small bumps underneath the mount taht wil be compressed when the spacer is put in.

I used a dremel on the cross member a tad and got everything bolted in. Driveshaft is in too.

One thing i noticed is that the shifter seems to be more towards the passenger side of the shifter "hole" than the T-5. Im assuming this is how its supposed to be.

I am in the same position as some of you. Got the new tko-600 and when I went to put the tranny mount on, I noticed that the plate butted up against the output shaft area. Did you guys just put on the tranny mount and not the full plate?

I used a dremel to enlongate the crossmember holes and it still doesn't fit. Its short about 1 in or so. What is the offset mount you guys are talking about? Where can I get that?

What about the exhaust hangers, are they not used anymore?
