OK so I am in serious need of some help. I just had an aftermarket radio put in (the Pioneer AVIC-D1, and yes it is unbelievable) and since I didn't have time to do it myself, I had a local install shop do it with the kit I ordered from Crutchfield. I realized after I picked up the car they didn't wire up the Shaker 500 door mounted subs. In fact, part of the wiring harness is still in the box. In the picture below, it is the harness all the way to the right, a six-prong harness with pre-amp outputs on the back (well it is almost like the harness to the right, except my harness has preamp plugs on the other end of the harness).
My question is this - the harness is obviously for the subs (via preamp plugs) but there are two "amp turn-on" wires. What, if anything, are these connected to? Do these get wired to the ignition switch of the radio or would it work if they weren't wired to anything? I could really use some input, I'd like to fix this and not have to deal with going back to the shop. Thanks in advance
