HELP!new cams in but running really slow

i just put in cams in my 02 gt mustang, and its running really slow even with the custom tune from JohnnyLighting performace on a diablo predator.
i dont think my car is pinging, but it just revs up a lot slower than stock.
ANY IDEAS?

im guessing that too, but what are your mods do you have gears on your car some cams require a a steeper gear like 3.55 and up

yeah my buddy had to go bigger with the gears.

Like others have said possibly your gears or its in the tune. If you dont have the gears to get it up into the RPMs it probably will feel slower because you probably lost some torque down low. Even my stang felt like it lost a little of get up down low with my american thunder cat-back. Mine was just an exhaust, but you got cams and just altered the characteristics of your whole engine.

look into then being one tooth off.

retarded just one tooth on a high duration cam kills them. at least investigate. even with wrong gear it should scream at high rpms. but off a tooth. DOH!!!!
