HELP!! NEW SB Edelbrock heads

Who is running edelbrock RPM heads, did you notice that Edelbrock drilled the holes for the screw in studs into the intake runners.
In my opinoin this is stupid poor engineering, not even the OEM does this.
I paid good money for performance heads and this is what I get.
Anyone else notice this, what do you think.

that's not just E'brock, lot's of heads are like that. even alot of OEM heads with screw in studs are like that.

just run some sealant on the studs. if you check out the block you will find that the lower head bolts penetrate the water jacket, thus requiring sealant on those bolts also.
