Took my car to a back year mechanic to get some work done , new mini torque starter, Off road H pipe and cat back exhaust (already have headers) new plugs and Ford motorsport wires and MSD caps . Well I didnt pick it up the wife did. When I got home started it and the starter wasnt disengaging started it 4 times same thing then the battery died ( car has been sitting for 5 months battery is shot ) So I got another battery today thinking the bad battery wasnt disengaging the starter and the stater still didnt disengage. and now it wants to die when its cold(lean?) So I took back over the mechanic and he says theres not much he can do for the rough idle when cold and that its running lean due too the new exhaust added a h pipe and mAc cat back, too the shorty header the car had he also said the car might adjust the fuel after driving it a bit.the mechanic also said that now with the good battery the starter should wear the contacts down after a could starts and be good? Worse case senario wrecking the stater if it isnt already. The starter the the mini high torque one from the mustang shop. he said it has a selenoid on the starter he had to do some wiring and instead of rewiring everything he just replaced the selenoid near the battery as well View attachment 151305??
