Help, Newbie with stock sound problem!!

Hey Sound Shop,

I have a problem with the stock Premium head unit in my '99 Mustang. When the car is on the head unit will turn on and off and from cd to am to fm to tape and back and forth again. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix this?

Also, i have a Mach 460 head unit from another Mustang. What all do i need to replace the premium if theres no way to fix it, or even if i want to upgrade it anyway?

Sounds like a possible bad head unit. Not sure if it'll be of any help, but maybe check out your owner's manual, or see if there's any similarities to the manual at this link to an owner's manual .pdf, to see if you can somehow reset the unit itself.
