Help!!! No Turn Signals

Right, does your fan work? If not, then take off the plastic panels under the sterring wheel.
A long beige plug attached to the steering column usually comes loose with time. Plug it back in and wire tie to keep it coming loose again.

What are HVAC controls?
The Hazards work. Are the hazards same thing as hazard switch?
Just checked my fan. It works. Heater fan right?
I'll check the steering column next, or should I bother if the fan is working?
Thanks for all the help!

Yes, everyone is talking about the blower fan for your A/C and heater.

Next time the turn signals stop working, check the blower fan to see if it's working.

When the ignition switch in the steering column goes bad, the turn signals and blower fan will stop working.

BTW, I had this problem a few months ago. It would come and go at random times. So, next time the turn signals stop working, be sure the check to blower motor.

The blower fan is currently working and the turn signals are not working.
What next?
Thanks for the help

Could this be the problem?
I found the flasher unit in the radio compartment.
I put an ohm meter on both terminals and I have no signal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

I would replace that as a first step. Seeing as your HVAC blower works, it's very unlikely that the ignition switch is bad. I think you're on the right track (mines never gone bad), I would go ahead and replace it.

Glad you found your problem, now I have the same issue on a 89GT. I have checked all the things listed, could not find a a flasher. The hazards work fine, I have a extra turn signal & swapped it out & still no signals. HELP!!

The flasher is not mounted on the front of the fuse panel. The flasher on the front of the fuse panel is a separate one for the hazard lights. It is in one of several places, depending on when your car was made. Some are behind the fuse panel on the back side, others are behind the radio and some are behind the glove box.

Other possible problem sources for the turn signal malfunction are the ignition switch, multifunction switch and the plastic shell that holds the turn signal wiring connector pins.

A word of caution about multifunction switches is in order here. The multifunction switch (high/low beam, wiper, turn signals) are different for different years. 87-98 will work in any 87-89 car. The 90-93 switches only work in 90-93 cars. You can't put an early model switch in a late model car, nor can you put a late model switch in an early car.

Supposedly you can move the pins around to make the switches work in model years that are different from the car the switch came out of. I cannot verify that and haven’t tried it .

The following diagram is for 87-89 model cars.
