Yes, the fan has 2 speeds and comes on for different temps and also when the air conditioner is switched on. Not sure of the temps that trigger the different speeds but it has been discussed on here before.

I believe the low speed fan turns on at 212 and the high speed turns on at 221.

Hope that helps. If you have the AC on, the high speed is on at all times. Running the AC actually keeps my stang running cooler. lol

Well, you are going to have to do some investigation to see how that person wired it up.
Here is a link to some wire diagrams to help you out.

Good Luck!

In case it helps:

94-95 Mustangs Cooling System Diagnostics - Mustang-Tech

In the body of the narrative, there's info about diagnostics/testing and wiring up fan switches (which might help you check the wiring or unwire them).

Good luck.

How did they modify the fan settings? Are you talking about an aftermarket fan controller?

they ran a wire from the grownd on battery to a switch in side car. then taped in too a wire coming from the ccrm to the switch the wire they tapped in too is green with purple strip. every thing works like normal but you can turn the fan on when you want!

Your fan thresholds are lower than stock - that's the part I'm asking about.

On a stock GT, low speed doesn't come on till ~208*F and high till ~226*F. Your temp for each seems to be lower and I wondered how that was happening.

You have a custom tune (chip)? If so, that's possible
