If you have an h pipe with cats and just don't have the sensors hooked up are you losing a lot of power? Would it make a big difference to hollow the cats out? I don't want to wreck good cats for nothing, and thats all I have. I would just get an off road but funds are scarce.

i believe just knock out the inner of the old cats would make it free flow like a O/R h-pipe, i kno wlots of ppl that have dont it and have gotten the same effect, they just want to be able to pass a visual inspection by cops, me i just bought a O/R h-pipe and put it on, when i go in for emisions a stick my stock pipe back on, takes like a n hour. ya ur car needs those sensors to tell the computer how much fuel to give it, with out itll run rich.

The MAC H pipe with cats came with the car I got them off now to fix up under the car. They were not connected to anything. I plan on removing my emissions as it is almost 20 and I think I can get away with it now. I see they are not cheap and do not want to destroy expensive cats. I would rather trade them to someone who could use them than wreck them.
