help please!?!?

just did h/c/i swap now im havin problems besides the typical smoke off. first the rockers are hitting the valve cover. this is not the first swap i did but do you guys think that that would make the car feel like it has a slight miss? also i decided to take the car up the block anyway hopng the knockin would go away i made it one house down and couldnt take it anymore went home in fear well anyway it back fired wtf? please im more then annoyed also i did the fox tbody swap cra has an ecam 1.7 roller rockers tfs intake 70mm tbody hanks in advance

well, the valve covers are too small it seems. you also should check your plug wires. youd be amazed how the smallest things do the biggest things. next, check for vacuum leaks too.

Since you road tested it and got everything up to temp..I would go over it one more time....
Check your wires...re-set the timing....it should be warm when you do the timing anyways....Is it down on power?? Could be the valves need resetting?

Sounds like you have skip...you should be able to tell if its valvetrain related...does the motor sound snappy at idle?? or lose power/miss under load??..Hows the F/P???

fp is fine at idle it sounds nice actuall except for the valve tap which isnt always there sounds like it collapses the lifter and then it pumps back up i do think i found one bad wire ill chang them tommorow and hopefully the valve covers too what do you mean skip?

oh and i have pedestal mount rockers and it did feel down but that could be the tming anyways
