car spins tires way to much in 1st gear, wouldnt be that good for a 1/4 mile pass or even racing. has stock rear end. what should i do?

i have drag star rims with 265/50/r15's on the back thought those were pretty descent for street.

What brand tire? Try the drag radials from B/F or M/T

If your all stock back there you need to upgrade. I do too, I'm working on that. Get some upper and lower control arms, thats a good start. I dont even hook with drag radials. I'm just not sure what control arms to use, doing research first.

How do you like the UPRs, I was going to go that route. Are they real noisy?

quiet actually, theyre real easy to install to. alot better looking then the stock also smaller.

You must have gotten the ones with the bushings? Are yours adjustable?

yup mine have the bushings, not adjustable tho.

So could you tell a difference because it still seems like your having problems hooking. I need to buy some, I just want to make sure I make the right choice.

if you want some really good ones, to make sure it'll stick to the ground go with the lakewood traction bars, replaces your lower control arms. i want to go with those but dont really have the money.

I have a set of southside lift bars a buddy gave me for free, I'm going to try those. I'm scared of ripping up my torque boxes, not sure if I want to reinforce them right now. Still need some uppers though.

ah alright. well i dont know much about the control arms anyway. i was thinking maybe i could just put weight in the hatch area?

weight in the hatch area will help a bit, i would say change the shocks, if they are bad, the torque wont transfer properly and you end up spinning

that might be a good idea also, i have no clue if these shocks are bad, i just picked them outta my uncles shop and put them on. do you know of a good kind to use? i also need some news springs, the front ones have been cut a lil for drag.

+1 for sure mine never come off but my stang is not my daily driver i get enough miles in it to know it could easily be a good daily driver with Nitto 555r drag radials
