Car - 1987 Mustang
Passenger side window

Mine was getting very slow up and down.
Ordered a new one from LMR. Part number E1ZZ-6623394.
Description - 79-93 Door Window RH

Pulled my old one out, it was already some cheap aftermarket.
Went to put new one in but holes are not the same, don't line up.

See pics.
Why is this different?
LMR seems to only carry the one I have, so no alternative.

From my research -
It appears a previous owner purchased this window regulator replacement kit from LMR.
Notice the motor in that kit looks just like my defective one, but not like the new replacement.

Anybody got some ideas on this?

Do you have a stock or OEM-like window regulator as well?

LMR states in their notes: "Window motors will ONLY bolt up to factory window regulators. Will not mount to aftermarket window regulators utilizing a different bolt pattern."

First my drivers motor went(it was original one) then two years later the pass.side went out, I took old one to ?autozone, pepboys,or oh oh ohreillyes, and they sold me ones that fit perfect with a lifetime warranty.

Kind of makes me wonder. On my Fox, my drivers side window, if you roll it all the way down it will actually skip/jump where the entire window shudders up/down. Does that sound like a bad regulator? From @TTSaleen regulator picture there are teeth that i'm assuming mesh with the motor gear, wonder if any are broken or if they are misaligned somehow.

I have found that most window jumping issues are the guide is gooped up or dry, try cleaning the track with WD40 and slather with white lith grease.
Been my experience anyway.
