I have been working on clearing 2 codes and have read many posts related to it, but so far no luck in getting it sorted out.
Car is a 93 5.0 LX, and I am getting both code 94/44. I am running cats and all smog equipment.
So far I have verified that there is 12v+ power to both of the solenoids red wires. I am trying to now figure out wire colors.
Based on TMoss diagram, here is what I believe I have going on.
White/Lt. Green - To Diverter Valve (Pin 32)
White/Yellow - To Bypass (Pin 38)
I have turned the car IGN on, and checked the output of 32 and 38 at the sensor (I unplugged it and determined what the output was) it was about .89v. Then I plugged in the self port and did a KOEO test and the voltage went to 1.2v.
My next idea was to start the car, and do the same thing. Also was thinking of putting a meter between the red and other wire to see if a circuit get completed.
At this point I am at a loss for what to look at next. I was hoping I could find out what the code is really saying or how the computer detects the error which causes the code. (That maybe the solution in itself, but figured I would ask.)
On a side note, I get a weird KOEO code, #18. From what I have read that is not an engine off code, so I am not sure what that tells me.
Thanks
Greg
