Ok guys need some help hear! What is involved in removing the smog pump? I have the offroad bbk x pipe. And heard i might as well trash the smog pump. Heard it can free up some HP. If anyone has some tips or could full out tell me how to junk this thing. It would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Also am i gonna need to do anything with the computer or is it gonna adjust itself to losing a limb? Second of all i got my x-pipe and flowmaster catback all put on. I was gonna do it myself but those nasty header bolts were on tight. I finally found a shop how would do it. After about 15 saying "NO" Cant remove the cats cause blah blah blah damn horsepower restricting laws against tampering with emission control shat. But i finally got a friend to do it. The problem im having is the car is lowered. Not sure how much it was done when i got it. But the left exhaust tip rattles on the lip of the gas tank. Which is easily fixable. But i have a rattle up near tranny. Its annoying as hell. When i pull up on the shifter or push down rattle goes away WTF??? Anyone have this problem? Oh yeah i heard alot of people saying the x-pipe and 2 chambers = bad sound? I disagree i think it sound sweet. But thats the lovely thing about america. Everyone has the right to an opinion. As long as it has a 5.0 under the hood you cant go wrong!
