Help Sportline Springs only lowered the front .75" have ?'s on Steeda Camber Plates

My girlfriend and I lowered her 00 GT yesterday but the front springs only lowered the car .75" where the rear are down 1.5-1.75 inches (which is where they should be). We installed Eibach Sportline springs. Tokico Ilumina's front and rear, and a set of Steeda 3-bolt camber plates (older style) With exception of one rear shock, all the parts were used. The shocks and struts are the for the 93 and earlier models which have the different valving for lowered 94 and up stangs. Also we re-installed the rubber isolators on the new springs.

Anyway,
I was a little confused when I installed the camber plates as there were no instructions. I think I have them mounted correctly, the notch on the stud plate facing forward and the slots running front to back. What I was not sure about is which set of slots to use and which spacers. I looked on the web but everything I found did not explain it very well. The camber plate came with two sets of spacers. The shorter of the two, were already installed in the camber plates. The others were in a small baggie. The used struts came with no spacers.

When I did my 96 GT 4 years ago, my Maximum Motorsport camber plate came with an assortment of spacers. At that time, I was not sure how to correctly figure the spacing. It seems to be fine (the car sits as it should) but I am not sure if I did it correctly?

Is there an article somewhere that will tell me how to space the struts correctly? I have a feeling I screwed up with the spacers and that is why the car sits so high in the front. I installed both sets of spacers. The longer one under the camber plates and the short one on top. It looked like without the lower spacer, the nut would bottom out on the threads and never tighten?

Any help would be appreciated.

odd. you can mix match spring as they are compleatlly different from front to back, and even if you left isorater in, should have been at least 1.5~1.75 drop...
Must be something to do with installation of C/C plate

Did you use polyurethane spring isolators? That will prevent more of a drop.

I imagine I mus have a similar drop, and the same plates. Notch at front is right. I measured the difference in length between stock vs my fox struts (about 1") and knew the front was going to be 2" lower than stock, so I put the larger spacer on top. Seems fine. Unless you were at the end of the range of the strut (and youd know that) then it wouldnt change the ride height anyway, thats all the springs. Did you keep the spring tails pointing the same way as stock?
