Help stangnet, I need a lawyer!

Ok guys I am in a bind here. As some of you know I am going through a divorce and my wife tried to take me for everything I had.

Long story short I finally got her to agree to my terms and her lawyer filed the papers.

I need to get this finished but I cant afford a lawyer to just read my papers to make sure I am not getting screwed. I just need someone to read the documents.

Any of you guys out there a lawyer who wouldnt mind reading my 6 page document that will probably only take you 15mins?! I talked to a lawyer up here and he wanted to charge me like 500 dollars..

I am in such a bind right now because shes left me with all the bills...

If anyone could help me just provide me with a fax# and I will get it out to you. If you want money I guess I can try and conjure up some.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help out. She has totally screwed me over and is actually on her second boyfriend since we have been seperated for only 3 months. I am so frustrated and hurt at this point I just want to get it over with.

Its not how it always is...only when you marry a young girl who is overly attatched to her parents and does whatever they say. There is more to it but thats the just of it.

Just remember that laws vary from state to state, although if you have come to an agreement Im sure it should be close.

heck i'll do it for $20 bucks and a 6pack. vehicular man slaughter while intoxicated doesn't seem too bad. prison would provide a bed, food, gym, cable, computer, congical visits, and even now a college degree. which is more than what i have now. heck i'dl be out in 6-15yrs and $20 richer! seriously though that sucks. def why i'm getting a prenup prenup. on that note.... get one of those prepaid attorneys or find some know it all parallegal. they basically do all the work for the lawyers.

man I know how that goes, I got divorced at 22. do yourself a favor and beg or borrow for the money to get a lawyer. Dont go into this half assed. right now they can put anything down on that divorce decree and if you dont know what is going on you are going to get shafted worse than you are right now. This is the rest of your life you are talking about, you need to start it on the right foot. If you two are in agreement on what you want done I am sure that you can get legal support and all the final arrangements taken care of for about 2 grand. in the long run that is a drop in the bucket. take the bullet in the ass and get some help, you will thank yourself for it later.

edit: well she lives with me so she inst really independent, but she doesnt spend my money. she actually spends hers on me even tho i tell her not to.
