HELP stuck in reverse

i have a 96 cobra and i went to pull out of my drive way in reverse this morn (just normal, not haulin a$$) and went to take it out and couldn't get it out. ive tried rollin in reverse then throwing it in first and it isn't budgin at all. i really hope its not my tranny.. please help me out with some ideas asap thanks!
