ok I first dynoed my car and I got 197hp and 260 something for the tq ... after doing the following mods I got 238hp and 272tq
01 PI heads
01 PI cams
01 PI intake
87mm Pro-m Air meter
C&L intake plenum
77mm throttle body
and a tune that is basically perfect all the curves are smooth but I am runnin a little rich we are correcting that now... other people that have done this swap got at least 250hp and almost 300 tq. What could be the problem or is there no problem??? could the air meter be leading to my problems??

To me, That does seem a little low considering that is about stock 99+ #'s. Usually when the swap is done they dyno more than stock 99+ because of the higher compression. It sounds a little low to me, but that's just my opinion  Anyone else?

His is a little low my headswap with no mods untuned was 228 and 270 tuned was 242 and 282. The only power producing mod on there is the upper plenum. Lose the MAF it is a waste anyway and see what happens.

even though I have a tune already won't swaping the MAf screw up the tune???

if its been tuned with tht meter on it , leave it alone , its not hurting you since its tuned , bad part is if you dont have enough airflow to peg the voltage on the stock one you just spent money you didnt have to . but I would leave it on since you do have it tuned properly . whats your air/fuel running ?? post some graphs maybe someone can chime in , but unless you have longtubes the HP and TQ seems about right to me .
