I just got my '98 back from the dealer after having the Pats system replaced on the column so that Icould actually hear it run and now I have noticed that the airbag light comes on in a series of blinks and then stays on constantly. The code if I am reading it right is 32. Is there anything that I can do to reset it or do I have a bad sensor or something?

Thanks,
Nate

Was the air bag light on before you had the pats work done? The code you have is for the driver side air bag open circuit or high resistance.

If this light was not on before then I would bring it back to the dealer, they might have left the connector under the column undone or messed up the air bag sliding contact ( clockspring)

If your horn and cruise control is also inop then I would bet that your clockspring is messed up.

Thats just it I have no clue about the light before the work was done. When I got the car the pats pieces on the column were not there so I couldn't actually start the car or get any of the warning lights to come on. The steering column was out of the car when I got it and I had to disassemble it to get it to work again and in doing so I disconnected the airbag and removed it from the wheel but I reconnected everything back the way I took it apart before I put the column back into the car.
