Help With Amp For Sub?

Will this amp go well with it
PIONEER GM-D9601

The sub is 600 watt rms and 1200 peak and will be wired at 4 ohms
The amp is 500 watt rms at 4 ohms and 2400 Watts at 1 ohm monoblock

Personally I would wire it 2 ohm. This will allow the amp and speaker to work more efficiently. You will get more output at 2 Ohm. To answer your question yes that combination will be fine.

It can only be wired 1 ohm or 4 ohm and I'd rather 4. but I got this sub and box for 75 bucks pretty much brand new. Thank you Craigslist.

Because it says it's 2 ohm but because it's a dual voice coil 2 ohm it's actually 4 ohm. If it was a dual voice coil 4ohm it could be 2 ohm or 8 ohm.

I just needed a Lil bass it doesn't need new speakers there's just no bass in the stock ones

The stock radio isn't the worst thing I've heard but its very underwhelming. Audio is usually one of my first mods. I'm slowly trying to turn it into a racecar.

Haha your gonna have to do that rear seat delete and replace that weight with sub. And I don't need line converter that amp can be wired to speakers and automatically adjusts itself.
