Alright, I got the autometer guage cage that goes in place of the center vents. I don't have any instructions. Not sure if it was supposed to come with any or if I just lost them... anyways.

I remember long ago I tried installing a similar set-up in my 94 firebird and ended up breaking almost every vent piece trying to remove the vents.

So, before I even attempt it on the stang I would like to know how its supposed to be done. What special tools if any I might need, and how to minimize breakage. Thank you!

it might be in here, under "gauge cage installation": http://autometer.com/tech_instructions.aspx?sid=4

i didnt really need anything special. just a few screwdrivers, and small wrench iirc. i lost the nut that holds the backing plate a few times and it dropped down onto the radio. a little helpful tip if you drop it.
