Hello-
Can I get a little guidance from you folks on this one? I just completed an engine swap from my 2000 A/T GT to a 2000 Manual GT. My son totaled my car, but the engine was undamaged- so I found a pretty clean 2000 Manual with blown engine, and swapped out with some friends.

I’ve been running her for a couple days now and paying attention for leaks and issues. I can smell oil burning though I’m not seeing any leaks. This morning I went out and there were 3 fresh wet drops of fluid underneath the drive side. Checked them and they weren’t oil, but much clearer. Got underneath and the undercarriage was completely wet, the driver side cat was wet- I looked down from up top and the steering column was wet, made my way up and I believe I see where the leak is coming from (please see photo attached). You can see how wet the bolt is at the arrow tip.

What can a leak here indicate? Bolts are snug and we never touched this during install. I don’t know much about how the hydroboost/MC configuration works. For the amount of leaking I saw, I would have expected the oil and/or power steering reservoir to be significantly lower than normal- but both containers were just below the max line. And the brakes work fine, pedal is solid. But it’s for sure leaking something right at the indicated spot, and good enough to leave drops and a pretty wet underneath. Any guidance on this would be appreciated.
