I'm installing a mechanical oil pressure gauge and I got the sending unit off (after removing/breaking the plastic housing...). Are the bell units interchangeable with the one I have? (shown below) View attachment 207946
I see the bell and log shaped senders listed for 79-89 and mine 90-93 on LRS, but it would be easier to install a bell sender.
Does anyone know offhand if the GM sender tool from Advance fits our senders? Or can someone provide a link to a Ford sender removal tool?
I would have used an open end wrench but I didn't feel like I had enough room to maneuver it under there. I'll give it a shot when I install the new one.
