Hello to everyone. This is my first post. I have a 93GT that I have everything completely removed from the front of the car. This is not my first fox project but it is the first one to go this far. I purchased a used tubular kmember. I think it is qa1 because it has the bolt on plates to run the stock springs if you want. I bought a new manual rack from unisteer. It is a quick ratio. It came with the sleeve and two bushings per side. The bushings fit the rack and the sleeves are good in the bushings. The sleeves will not go on the mounting stubs of the k member. These are the stubs/stand offs that are threaded to replace the factory long bolts. It is not even close. The sleeve is only about 1/8 biger od than the stub it goes on. If you drill the center it would be too thin. I know I am not the first one with this problem.
#2 I am getting rid of the brake booster and going manual. I have the block. Can I use the original power MC with the block or does it have to be a non power MC. I have several other questions but these are at the top of the list. Thanks

Not everyone has the same aftermarket parts as you do. I certainly don't, and I have no experience with the QA1 product.

Those 30 views were probably from guys who had the stock K member and steering rack. I am sure that if you had the stock parts that one of them would have had the answer to your problem.

I understand and Im not trying to be rude. You would think that whoever designs the kmembers would use a stub that has the same od as the factory sleeve. This is the hard part about piecing something together with an assortment of parts but If I had too buy it all in a new kit it would be out of my price range
