help with reception

Hi,
Hi If you’re experiencing weak signal lost over time, may be the the Tuner is failing, time to replace the Head unit..
You get less than what you pay for, so go for something you can get all the bells & whistles you desire, interfacing with your device of choice with as well.
That being said, first rule out the obvious:
1) Pull your antenna connection off the Head, clean, reinstall. Verify your unit is solidly grounded.
2) Check connection is free of rust & corrosion, solid at your Antenna.
3) Verify that your Antenna is fully extended.

An Antenna is a good upgrade, a high gain mini-Whip or OE type by Bose, Jensen, yields clarity, but only as good as the Tuner allows, and vise-versa.
A signal Booster only helps improve upon an inconsistent signal you’re already receiving,
& will not usually help signal degeneration and allow reception to new stations when caused by physical obstructions, Ie; Buildings, Mountains.
Good luck!
