Help with Sirius tuner install

I have a pioneer avic-d1 HU. I bought the sirius tuner that goes with it, and wanted to try to install it myself.

I have an 02 GT vert. I have some 3m t-taps, and some quick disconnect connectors. The harness that comes with the tuner has a yellow and black wire, for power and ground. Can anyone tell me which wires I should use my t-taps and quick connects on? Should I not use the t-taps at all?

i ran mine off the power wires for my amp. you could get some 10 gauge line and run a wire from your battery to the tuner (dont forget an inline fuse) and then just a short wire for the ground to whatever bolt is closest
