1992 Mustang GT, 96,000 miles.
I helped a friend put edelbrock performer heads, tfs stage 1 cam, 1.6 rockers, a used edlebrock performer manifold( old style),bbk tb Car runs great, really strong, pulls like a mofo 2500 rpm to 6000+
But now the car smokes at startup, and when he gets on it hard it smokes pretty bad, ( BLUEISH SMOKE) car never smoked before, the head, cam, intake swap.
could it be the pcv valve?
Where is the pcv valve on 5.0 motors?
We pulled off the inspection cover on the intake and there is ALOT of oil in the bottom!!
I just got an L shaped pcv valve from autozone and a gromet for the new edelbrock chrome valve covers, and ran a rubber line from the pcv valve in the valve cover to the throttle body nipple, trying to emulate the stock hard line like in the stock valve cover on the passenger side but has done nothing for the smoking problem.
Help!

if you put heads, cam, intake on the car and dont know where the pcv valve is....we have a problem. one thing that you might not have thought about is the oil baffle/shield on the lower intake manifold that goes underneath the pcv valve. IMHO if you dont know where the pcv valve is, you probably dont have that piece on the lower intake. definetly something to check out
