HELP WITH TRANS INSTALL

i have a 85 mustang it was a 5 speed and i put in a auto out of a t-bird. to get the imput shaft into the moter i had to pull out a sleeve in the block now i am going to put the 5-speed back in i need a new sleeve
what is this called and how can i get a new one

y did u even go auto??? Dont know the answer but im just wondering about why u switched in the first place

Are you asking about the pilot bearing that fits in the crankshaft? If so, the pilot bearing is available at most any good auto parts store.

Yeah, if it's inside the center of the end of the crank, it's the pilot bearing you are looking for.
