If anyone can help, it would be great. My problem is my 89 GT is having electrical issues. The whole harness is a mess. My brother in law has his clean harness out of a 93 GT. I'm planning to tear the car down to try and switch out the whole harness since I just had the motor rebuilt. Will it all plug straight in? I have an A9P computer and he did too. Will I need to change any sensors, plugs, or anything else? I've done reading but it's not very useful to my application. Any help is appreciated!

PM me your email address and I will send you a complete Ford Factory 89 Mustang electrical diagram set. The zip file is 2.5 MB and is too big to fit through Stangnet's email gateway.
The plug shapes on the diagrams match the plug shapes on the actual plug. The diagram is divided up by the layout of the car. The first diagram is for the very front of the car, and it works its way to the rear of the car.
89 Mustang wiring diagrams zip package–

They are in a zip file format to reduce the size of the package. If you don't have Windows 7 or Windows 8, you’ll need WinZip or other Windows archive tool to extract them from the zip file.. See www.majorgeeks.com - Download Freeware and Shareware Computer Utilities for a free download.

The diagrams show the location area and the connectors are drawn to the same shape as those in the car.

You will need the Adobe Acrobat viewer which is also a free download – www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html - Adobe Reader download - All versions

The 93 harness relocates the fuel pump relay under the hood below the MAF. The computer connector is the same, the sensors are the same, the engine mounted fuel injector harness is the same. The only problem you may have is the fuel pump wiring,

Below are diagrams of the 2 harnesses.

The following are diagrams courtesy of Tmoss & Stang&2birds

Unfortunately 1989 is a unique year. A lot changed in 1990 to the wiring harness, and 87-88 was a speed density engine harness.

For plug and play, you'd need another 1989 year harness. Only way to use the 1993 harness is if you had it all and swapped it completely over. The body harness changes those years too, so a lot of that would need to be changed.

He is going to give me the whole wiring harness from the front to the back, it's all intact.
