So for the past couple mornings I've went out to my car and go to crank it but nothing it won't even try to turn over but later on in the day when it warms up it cranks right up and runs just fine and I live in Georgia so the weather doesn't get that cold right now. So I did some research and someone said the battery so I tested it and it was a bad battery and changed it out yesterday and thought that was gonna fix it. So I go out this morning and it cranked right up for about 3 seconds and then cut off again and won't even crank back up. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the fuel system but I'm not sure. If anyone can help me out I'd be much appreciated because I really don't wanna have to take it to a mechanic.

The connections are good as far as we know we check them not even two weeks ago. The starter is going off but it's like there's no spark happening in the distributor and I just replaced it about a month ago . The weird thing is it's only having this problem when it's a little cold in the morning time and when I get home from work it works just fine.

Everyones been telling me you can't put that car on a computer and pull codes cause it just won't work that the car won't let you do that like I've taken it to places and they aren't able to

Like said. OBD1 is a mythical creature to some.

Buy the above scanner for $20 and you can pull codes.

Here's a how-to on using the above reader
