HELP!!!

Ok so i was driving today and the car just shuts off. i was pulling it out of gear and pressed the break to slow down and it just cuts off. I had to restart. this scared me cause i was in a turn and the breaks were not stopping much and no power stearing on almost a 90 degree turn. any ideas on what it could be? it has stalled twice before when comeing to a stop but never while driving. thanks in advance

There are a few threads about this already, a search on stalling should give you a ton of reading. I don't know if anyone has solved it yet though.

yea i looked threw those before i made the post and did not seem to find any answers Anybody have any idea on what could cause it before i go to the ford dealer and they charge me and arm and 3 legs on what they think "could fix it"

my 01 cobra did the exact thing more than once i would like to know what the hell it is..

My Pacific Green Cobra has done this to me before and I think I know what caused it on mine. The only times it ever did it, I had sprayed throttle body cleaner into the throttle body a few hours before. I thought I revved it all out, but apparently I hadn't. It caused the engine to choke and stall when I was driving. But it hasnt done it since and I havent sprayed the cleaner since, either. Hope this helps.

hmmm. I had just clenaed my k&n filter maybe that stuff got in there? not sure. I also just had my fuel injectors cleaned. i am gonna put the stock filter back on and see if that fixes the problem.

My 03 did this on me when i first got it.. when i'd get off the highway ramps. i'd forget to take it out of 5th quicker than i would my previous car and i'd stall it ;(

Its happened a few times to me as well. I nor anyone else could figure out why.. seems like this happens to alot of stangers and almost seems normal..as wierd as that sounds

Yea it sucks because peopel say "You stalled out while driving? where did you learn to drive a stick" ha h aha or "WTF happend to the radio"
