Hey guys my brother (tsoccer3299) is down in Gresham right now on his way to mt. hood and sais he thinks his balancer went out. The car doesn't sound right and keeps shuttering and shaking. So if anyone wants to lend a hand and help him tomorrow morning with getting a balancer or putting one on, or just helping him figure out wut the hells wrong would be great. He was hoping that maybe AFP or BOP had a balancer laying around he could buy and pay to have it put in or somethin. I just talked to him again and hes gonna stay the night at a friends house there in Gresham. If anyones interested you can either post here or call him at 253-973-5938. His names Tommy and the car is a 95 GT. It still has the stock balancer on it and Ive been telling him to get it replaced . Thanks guys.

Michael

You do need a tool to do balancers. Jeff from AFP put a balancer on my car, and pulleys in about an hour or so, and the labor was very reasonable. Give em a call

Anyone in the gresham area wana at least look at it and see if it really is the balancer? All the shops are closed today so hes kinda screwed right now and its not like hes any professional mechanic.

A balancer issue would be unusual. How many miles on the car and has the balancer been off? I would suspect the MAS first. Have him check all the connections, both electrical and the large diameter tubes that conduct the air. If he has a CAI, look very carefully, that airflow is critical.
