i have 1984 mustang with a 2.3 which is long gone been replaced a1995 5.0 wich is carburetor,with a single plane intake,msd distributor. aftermarket cam,with 5 speed.and3.73 gears.the qestion i havehow do i wire the 3g alternator to the volt.regtor,with the original wireing.

You don't, unless you want to watch the car burn? The 3G is internally regulated also, so you can pitch the original regulator.

Use a smaller mega fuse - 125-150 amp.

thanks jrichker, that picture helps a LOT on my 82, i used the stock regulator also, which is probably the wrong way to do it, should i remove my stock regulator?? if i can that would be most excellent
