I am having trouble getting my passenger side manifold bolts off so I can get my x pipe on. I am using a 15mm socket with an extension to fit with a swivel and a damn impact but am still unable to break loose the bolt. Right now I have the threads soaking in wd40 to see if that will work.

Any other ideas other than find the biggest mofo in the world to come break it loose.

BE CAREFUL!!! I was in exactly the same position last week. I went to the impact wrench, and the damn stud sheared right off. Now I have a really bad exhaust leak, and it isn't gonna be cheap or easy to fix. The WD40 idea is good, but whatever you do, don't shear it off!

if wd40 doesnt work get some rust buster or something else more powerful..like flyboy said you dont want to shear it off

just have patience

oh and if u didnt unhook ur battery, watch out for the starter, i got into a fight with it when i did it and lets just say i didnt win :)

Just bought some pb blaster at the parts store. Will get it soaking in the morning as I am tired and dont want to drive all the way back out to the shop.

If that doesn't work. Time to move onto the exhaust shop. Might be the best $70 I could spend instead of wasting two days on a weekend when I have stuff to do around my house. (remodeling)

12 hrs.... chit... I will be working on this turd at 5 am!
If no go on the bolts. I will still have time to make the exhaust shop or local speed shop.

Hate messing with stuck bolts. Plus if they shear one off at the manifold they should have the tools to re stud them.

You don't have to wait 12 hrs for PBlaster to penetrate. 30 mins max.

If that doesn't work, try some of that CRC freeze off.
