#1: save up another 9k sell my car and get a 03/04 cobra
#2: buy an 03/04 cobra engine
#3: just build the crap out of my c02 gt only got 73xxx miles


1,2 or 3 cant make up my mind!

What are your goals for your car? What do you want out of a Cobra besides the exclusive ownership of having one? You could easily spend less than 9k on your GT and you would have a bad ass car.

Let us know what you want like hp wise and other things to help us give you some advice.

well for one i just love the look of the cobras i have always wanted one but i just want the hp to take out a 2010 camaro ss

If im not mistaken didn't you just sell your old 2v and had just purchased this car? You are worse than I am! Stop being compulsive and keep the GT.

i sold my old v2 with 138xxx miles auto to get this one ya haha

Save your 9k. Install a Vortech. Upgrade your clutch, upper and lower control arms and tires. You can use the fuel system that comes with the kit unless you plan on making some serious power in the future then upgrade your pump and injectors accordingly. That would cost you less than 6k with the tune. Have fun and be safe. In the future if you still have the itch install and intercooler and dig into that motor!

do you think i should do exhaust now or get the SC then get the other stuff and what about cams or should i bother or just SC it

If you are on a budget just install an aftermarket mid pipe and you are good to go! Heads and cams will be overkill with a blower on stock internals.

ya sorry i changed it i meant heads but ya ok i think i might just do exhaust and then vortech kit then go back and upgrade everything else but do you think that would be all i need to take put a 2010 ss

A stock one maybe. You need to remember cars these days are making tons of power "stock" and require very little modifications especially stock boosted cars to make some serious power. You need to take baby steps to keep it safe. You don't want to kill your self now. Add the blower. Down the road build the little 2v and the sky is the limit.

I agree with ktayl, install a Vortech. You will be glad you kept it after your first drive with the supercharger. Although I do recommend intercooling it.

now im just trying to decide if should get my new rims 18/10 so when i do super charge it, it will be better

there is an 04 cobra on car.com for 18k with 68xxx i know i could probably sell mine for 11k come up with 7k i know i got 1k so 6k or build idk i love my car but its a cobra hahaha

All you need is a blower and some gears to walk one. I know because I just did it recenlty. I put almost 4 cars on one and all I really have is 3.55s and a KB 2.1 at 9lbs. They are far from un-beatable.

Honestly I would keep your car and spend your money on modifying it. You can build a budget engine by re-using the stock crank and adding forged pistons and rods. A mild set of ported heads and a vortech with a front mount and BAM your pushing an easy 500hp no sweat.

That should still leave you some cash left over to sharpen the looks of your car. You could get a cobra hood, bumper, and side skirts and call it a day. Personally I like cowl hoods but thats just me.

Didn't you just buy the white GT after selling the blue GT not more than a year ago? Sounds like someone cant make their mind up on anything lol
