Here are the old numbers and what I changed on the combo to get the new numbers:

old numbers
263rwhp
331rwtq

331 w/all Forged Internals
TFS Street Intake --->TFS Track Heat Intake
TFS Twisted Wedge Heads
Lunati L51014 --->Comp Cam XE274HR
1.6 RRs
Bassani catted x pipe --->Bassani o/r X
BBK Headers
Flowmasters --->Spintech Prostreets
24lbs Injectors
190l Fuel Pump
4.10s
PI 3000
Transgo Shift Kit
K&N FIPK w/C&L TrueFlow Inlet Pipe
75mm Pro M
75mm BBK Throttle Body
FMS Aluminum Drive Shaft
ASP Pulleys

New numbers
307rwhp
321rwtq

23% drivetrain loss with my aode = 399hp/418tq at the crank.

These numbers might not be the greatest but I'm happy with the 44rwhp increase. The car runs and pulls good now hopefully I can get my first 12sec timeslip...

Get a Pro-M 80MM shorty meter and a AFM 4 inch power pipe. That should tack on a bunch. Nice increase with the new combo. Should be in the 12's next time out.

Sounds to me like your engine can breathe a lot more air. I'd get a bigger MAF for sure. Heck, I'm using a 76mm C&L on my stock engine.

Yeah it sounds like your tranny may be holding you back a little. But the nice thing is that if you enter yourself into a trophy race you should be able to have very consistant times..

That to me is the biggest draw back of a manual transmission.

Yes the aode has given me some really consistent times. The last time I went to the track I got in 5 runs and the ETs ranged from 13.63 to 13.74

Maybe the next time I have some money, I'll buy a bigger maf...

Dyno numbers tend to be very misleading when it comes to automatics, due to the nature of the converter. What it runs is all that's gonna matter and is what truly shows the power being made.

That engine would also love some longtubes (I take it those BBK's are shorties).

:nice:

I just bought a brand new bassani o/r x pipe to go along with the shorties...I can't go back now, well at least for another year or so.

Hopefully this gain in power will put me into the 12's. I'll be going to the track on 5/15.

The last time my car was making 236rwhp and I did 14.39 at 97
Then it went to 263rwhp and I was able to pull off a 13.66 at 101
Hopefully now with 307rwhp I can drop it down to at least a 12.8 at around 105ish.

I have to disagree with a lot of you guys regarding the numbers.
I think that 307 RWHP with a 331 is :barf:
Joe and I have been posting in a thread at another site and found that you can EASILY get to mid high 3's if not 400 at the RW with a CORRECTLY-PUT-TOGETHER 331 combo.

Now, having said that, yes, the AODE, with the right TC (Stallion eg) will get about 7% of that back to the wheels, which alone is over 20HP, plus reduce weight and give you better launching.

I was considering selling the Vortech and using the money to fund a 331 new longblock with AFR's, but if Im not gonna at least hit the 350 mark to the wheels with that, then forget it!!

Does my a/f look really low to you? I don't know.

Granted that I have had a really hard time with this car, I am completely satisfied with the numbers...for now anyways.
Well, youre not running boost, and you never really got above high 12's, so you should be ok with that, depending on what your timing is set at!
