What would be a good air compressor to use, 3hp or 5, 90psi or 125psi....

the car is completely stripped and I will be starting body repair inside the car and new floors will be installed later on this month. Found some at my parents house that have been there for 4 years.

I have a 2 hp, 8 gallon 90 psi, oiled compressor. It's just enough for light work. Anything serious probably will need a larger/more powerful setup. Don't forget a dedicated A.C. outlet as they draw a lot of juice.

I have a 22gal, 125psi compressor and it is not enough if you are doing body work. Get the biggest one that you can afford and fit in your garage. I wish I had at least double capacity, the pressure is ok.

I have a 35 gallon, 6hp compressor. 125PSI. although, most of my airtools run from 60-80 PSI. A compressor of this size constantly runs while using a die grinder for an extended period of time and will run constantly if sandblasting.

I have one of the huge 60 gal.. stand up units.. 5 hp, 130 psi.. go bigger.. i used to have a one on wheels it was a joke.. sand for 3 minutes let it fill for 5 minutes..
