Cruised down to South Jersey (just outside of Atlantic City) with my buddy Kris to hang with a bunch of Lightning and Harley truck owners.

There few a few stangs, but mostly trucks. Great bunch of guys hanging out at a BBQ, talking trucks, and a couple hours of burnouts. Here are the pics. The guys with the sweet black harley truck is a friend of ours, he put a lightning motor (his truck was pre-supercharged Harley truck) in it and is going with a KB this winter.

A few buddies have had Gen1 "L"s and I keep in touch with them on the NLOC. Good group of guys.

The wife took a ride (we all met up to go to the movies) in one of the Gen1's. She didnt know what they were. After the ride she said "vroom vroom" with a smile then saying "if you ever want one you will not get a argument out of me as long as we can afford it". She even thought about trading in her car for one...but its hard to trade in a 2-3yr old 30mpg car she DD for a mid 90's truck...or a gen2.

SOME day though I would love to have a gen1 or 2. SEXY trucks.

Looks like a good time. Did kris bring his truck or is it still not on the road?

Looked like fun Tom. Lightnings are so badass in person, no picture can do that truck justice.

Wow Tom, I've seen plenty pics of your car, but in these it looks truely sick!!! Thanks svt_L for posting them up.

Btw, why is your license plate covering your intercooler? Can't have it behind the windshield?

no problem...he isn't running the intercooler this year and is running more boost, he got pulled over for having it in his windshield and it was by a cop that was local to his town and he said if he saw him again without the front plate he'd give him a ticket...

i think cops should focus more on crimes than no front plates, just my 2cents though

Plus, it's not like they could mistake THAT car for any other mustang around.
