My car pulls like crazy before and after 3k RPM, but it hesitates just slightly when it hits 3k. What could be causing this and should i worry?

Also it feels like i've lost some bottom end after my LT install, but the top end is craaaazy. What's an easy way i can even it out and gain some bottom end but still keep my LTs?

Yea the motor is bone stock. It pulls like crazy throughout the whole RPM range, it just has this split second of hesitation right around 3k...it doesnt bog down or fall on it's face or anything, it's almost like riding in a turbo car that finally spools up, ya know? There's basically a very noticeable pull past 3k that i've never felt on another stock 'stang.

Yea i'm figuring it has something to do with the stock carb still being used, so hopefully when i upgrade all that it'll go away.
