I joined up :p .....lol.I just got a 2.3L 93 LX hatch.

The car is emaculate. Its Calypso Green, has the dual plug 2.3L,and only 75,500 miles!

Every thing is in great condition, quarter glass trim is great, heat core still intact..and works.Factory steero look likte is never been used.

Only down side is its an automatic.

This will be my DD,and will not be the toy (until later...when I do a 351W swap).

What some stuff I can do to get better gas milage out if it?

I know the tune up stuff, but any secrets?

Well,I do want to put a 8.8" rear in the car,and do a 5 lug conversion.I think black bullets would look sick on the car.

Would the driveshaft need a new universal?Or will id fit right up to the 8.8"?

BTW,I already got a 74' 351W short block sitting in the shop,and most of the swap parts.Other than the trans stuff,as I want to do a 5 speed.I do got a C4,but na,want a 351W 5 speed :) .

you guys must be finding these things in little old ladies garages or something I swear....

your driveshaft will bolt right up to an 8.8" rear.

5lug conversion using ranger/aerostar parts from the u-pull is so cheap to do its not even funny.

you're wanting more gas mileage but you're thinking of going with a c4 when you swap over to a windsor?? lol.

See your sig? Yea, it happened to you. But hey, it happens; just be happy it's in good shape and runs, etc.

Yea,its not that big of thing, cause I got all the 351W swap parts already from a previous motor.

But right now the motor is just a short block, and I want to keep the 2.3 in there for atleast 6 months or so (as I will be driving it in the mean time, and the 2.3 get good gas milage).

And your right,it really is in good shape.

Thanks :nice: .
