hey everyone, im new. I need to find the knock sensor, please help

hello i have been tryin to find the knock sensor but i cant. Can someone please explain how and where the k-sensor is located on a 89 mustang 2.3... thank you so much

According to Auto Zones component locater: Under hood, center, front engine area, mounted in lower intake manifold.

Your knock sensor is on the front face of the upper intake. If you pop the hood and stand in front of the car and look at the upper intake (before it splits into individual runners), the sensor will be front and center. Very easy to access. If you think it's giving you problems, just unplug it and forget it.
