Hey everyone thanks for takin the time to read this. Im 17 and my pops recently ordered an 06' vista blue gt for me and I have a few questions. He's not really stayin on top of the ordering info so I thought I would post here cuz Im so anxious.

1.When I made my purchase I recieved a paper that was titled vehicle order confermation, is this my DORA?

2.I read here the priority number goes from 1-10, mine says 19. My dad purchased the vehicle on the x-plan and knows the dealer, but is this possible, or just a typo?

3. Whats the number of the robot lady?

4. Any new info on the production dates on the 06's

Thanks, i feel bad askin all these questions so if any1 wants 2 answer just 1or 2 please go ahead.

1. No. That is your Vehicle Order Confirmation. A Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement (DORA) will be issued within a couple days of the order being submitted to Ford.

2. Priority numbers range from 10-99. 10 being high priority.

3. Use the search function.

4. See #3.

When I was 17 my dad was long gone.. ..At 16 I drove my moms 1966 Coupe. At 17 I owned and drove my own 1968 Fastback At 35 I bought my youngest son a new Dirt bike, and my oldest a Guitar worth more then My first car,,,,,, Why,, Because I can
At 40 I have bought a '05 GT for myself,, and more cool things for my family, why because I can

Good on ya jbyrd423 .. Your a lucky young man.. Throw back the respect your dad is do,, Honor him with your attitude and desire to be a better person then he expects.

To the questions... Others have answered,,,, Now sit tight,, and dream of the day you'll have your Mustang. Forget the naysayers who like me, did without as a youngin,, but forget how much they WISH, it could have been different.. For you,,It is.. Have fun. Life’s short,, Play hard.

about time you get a real car? yea that must've been rough for a whole year riding around with the sun all up in your car. the greenhouse effect must've been a b*tch. i'm sorry you had to put up with that for a your first year of driving when more than half the population doesn't get any type of car til after 21 and career businessmen still take the bus to work.

Be grateful, and i hope you pay a ton of respect to your dad. b/c, i mean, you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.

I don't have too much room to talk as I haven't exactly had it rough as cars go, but I at least used my money to buy my first NEW car.

It worries me hearing about a 17 year old getting a new GT on his dad's dollar since my local dealership just had one in the shop that was completely trashed by someone that fit your description. Blew the rear end somehow and crashed the car. I don't know anything about you and suppose I'll assume you know what you're getting into, won't abuse it, and will appreciate your dad for it.

When I was 17, my dad and I bought our 71 Chevelle and I am the voice of experience: you'll be tempted to show off if you have a nice, fast car. That's how my driveshaft ended up on the street once.

To sum it all up: be responsible, ignore the jealousy, and don't be a douche. That last bit will help others see past their jealousy and like you a bit more.

Oh, and congrats on the purchase.

Kris

I know people who are in their 50s and have never had a new car. Many would envy the old car you had. Appreciate how lucky you are. Earn the right to have it.
