Having a motor built , not completed yet but my guy claims it'll have 450rwhp. Sounds too optimistic to me. Let me know what you guys think!

302 boss roller block, bored and stroked to a 362 (347 stroke with a bigger bore), holley 750, 1 5/8 headers, trick flow 205 TW heads, custom grind (comp?) cam, edelbrock victor jr. intake, eagle forged aluminum pistons, 1.6 or 1.7 stud mounted rr's. All through an AODE trans.

It sounds possible. Everything will have to be perfect though to get that through an AODE.

450hp at the crank maybe (and even that's pushing it)...but he's waaaaaay out to lunch on his estimates if he thinks it'll come anywhere close to making that at the wheels.

....and it certainly won't be much in the line of "streetable" after it's all said and done.

If you're running an auto, I hope you've got a lot of converter to back it with.
