Well that would be nice...but I'll be happy with high 11's because I don't exactly have drag suspension and it's a 5 speed. We'll see as the season runs on however

Never had this one at the track so I am guessing about 16 flat. 3.73s are in and have not installed VB and TC yet. Then maybe 15s? ( Is it OK to vomit now? )

I ran a 14.7 @95 with a horrible 2.4 60'.
Mods are Flowmaster 3-chambers, and timing bumped to 14*.
There was a pretty strong headwind that night and people were sayin it was adding .2 or so seconds... I want to go back before gears are installed and see how low I can get into the 14s now that I have 275 tires rather than the 225s that I ran that time on. After gears, 13s or bust.

P.S. I dont powershift it, im just lightning quick

i ran a 13.64 @ 103.94MPH but i had NO traction squealed a lil in first , then roasted 2nd and 3rd and chiped 4th, that was with my old setup

holley street dominator intake untuned carb, 10* timing, 1.6comp RRs 1970W heads,351W bored .40 over as far as i know i was told this is what was done. no new times on the mods in the sig, waiting for my new valve springs to match my cam. and first time ever at a track not powershifting

there was a lot left in the car!

Hmm... seems the driver mod will help a lot of cars here. NOT being mean, just saying with some good driving almost half these cars would be a second faster...

I have driven 10-11 second cars on street tires and know it take some practice... but its NOT worth spending the $$ if you dont need too! Just go a few times within a couple weeks and work on driving it to the timeslips!

Wow lots of 14 second cars. I thought everyone on here would have been in the 13's by now. That being said not everyone has horse dollars. Nice times guys. I want to make a run in the 10's. Need more juice. so far mid 11's is my best.

13.8 at 99.x with edelbrock rpm intake, 3.73s, full exhaust, maf, t/b, and shifter. I had a run that was .1 quicker at the 330ft mark but hit antifreeze, car got loose and had to back out.

Going back this weekend with afr 165s, fti custom cam, scorpion rockers, 24lb injectors and a maf sensor, shooting for low 13s on falken ziexs. Mainly going for mph while I save up for subframes and mickey t's.

Eh, 14.6 ain't bad for full exhaust, street tires and a short shifter....I'm saving up for suspension before I dive into the engine....

I definately agree with you about my car in regards to my 13.7@113 but I doubt if I could get my car in to the 12's even on its current tires. They are 225/60/15's made by a company I've never even heard of called PACEMARK....They basicly provide almost no traction. If I had a set of half decent street tires on it, I could probly get in to the 12's, but I couldn't see any better than maybe a 12.7 or 12.8 unless I got some drag radials. On top of the crappy tires that was the first pass I ever made in my car and it's completely untuned. Goin back out in a few weeks though with slicks and a tune and should definately be deep in the 12's if I don't snap a stock axle at the starting line, hah.

off road h-pipe, catback, bumped timing 13.51@99 on dr's and 13.97@100.5 on street tires....next up GEARS! Old car with pretty much same mods went 13.8@99 on streettires then 13.6@98 on slicks and slipping clutch.

I want a 6 pt bad, but my dad won't let me get one, he said it detracts from the looks of the car and he also says that its not a race car and is old and will break.
Its still running strong after about 35 1/4 passes and plenty of abuse.

How would the car look on its roof with your neck broken because there wasnt a bar in the car. Its for safety man, tell your dad that safety should come before looks.

I completely agree. My best time out of my car (before i tore it down) was a 14.01. and all it had was a k&n, hurst shifter, and a dynomax cat back... Hell, i drove my buddies LX, his best time ever since owning the car was a 13.60. my first time driving it i went 13.56, then 13.50. I think alot of it has to do with being able to feel what the car wants, and not nessicarily going by how youre told to run.
