I took the 93 GT up to Carlisle last weekend, just Saturday. Left at about 4:45 AM and it rained on and off for the whole 2+ hours to get there. It was almost dry in Carlisle (the streets) but my car looked like a mudball and I could not find a carwash anywhere! That sucked ass!

I ended up parking it all dirty, outside of gate #1 in front of the school. Had the for sale sign in it and may have a buyer but we'll see. Got a lot of compliments from the people that could see color through all the dirt. And had a few people say they see the car on here all the time.
:SNSign:

So I was there just to look, not planning to buy anything, and the first thing I came across was a real nice set of Capri tails.

I got them and the GT fog lights (1 good light and both brackets) for $50.

A little bit later a came across an 85 GT nose with all the lights and header panel and bolts for $250 in great condition. I left there thinking I would get it on the way back and a minute later I came across this 82-84 nose with everything

I asked dude how much and then almost **** when he said $60.
I went to get something to eat and came back to this guy and said $45. He said it's all mine, and it is.

Once I got it back to the car, I had to take everything out of the car (it was packed for a trip north after leaving Carlisle) and put my stuff on the wet ground then put the back seats down to fit the nose in, and then repack around it (and the tail & fog lights).

Then I went back in and told the guy with the 85 GT nose to take it home with him and I''d come pick it up. So he did, and I did, for $200.

The funny thing about picking up the foglights is I was going to buy a new set cuz when I got into Carlisle and stopped at McD's, I came out and saw this

My lens was separated and fell off and I was pissed. On Sunday I found it in my driveway, when I backed over it. Have no idea what, why or how it broke but I have a replacement. And the best part is I got two more fog light mounting brackets which I need so I can take them to work and cut the weird hole for the turn signal bulb sockets, for a new project.

I'm sure you can imagine those 4 eye noses wont go to waste. I'll be concentrating on the FFR for a while and may put the 80 Capri back together before the Crusin Ocean City car show next year. So it will be a while before I put either of these noses to use. But I will be doing something with them soon enough, and chances are, it's not something that you've ever seen before.

I seen 3-4 of the 85,86 GT front ends from $75-$225 with every thing on them.
I had no idea they were so hard to come by.

Thanks guys!

DMAN - With the exception of my one Capri, all of my cars will be converted to 4eye.

88gt - Cobra pics are coming.

RsStanG1987 - feel free to whore all the pics you want here. Me digs pic whorin!

I actually saw 2 more 85 GT noses when I was leaving. Both looked pretty good and were $225 each. I could have swung a pretty good deal on them but I think that would have been more than I need. My next 4eye adventure will be modifying a Cervini's GT Stalker Bumper cover to fit 4eyes without looking like ass.
