Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I used to drive a 99 V6 Mustang and traded it in a while ago for an Avalanche. Then I traded in again for an Infiniti G35 coupe. My payment was over 700 a month and I finally decided I don't want to pay so much for a car. Now I am trading it in tomorrow for an 2004 GT. I always liked the Mustang's style the most. I look forward to learning about the GT from everyone here.

Let's hope your story doesn't get changed amongst people and end up being "Some guy traded in his G35 because it suxxored and the Mustang is much better and more reliable!"

heh, yeah $700/mo would annoy me too. But good choice on both cars!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Honestly, the Mustang forums have always been a great help and always the friendliest. When I had the V6, I always found good info and really cool people. However, on the G35 forum, it was the opposite. It was always people rambling on about how they beat other cars, but when they lose, they say it doesn't count since the other car was not so expensive or as good as their G35. Don't get me wrong, there are some cool people on those forums, but a lot of them let the car get to their head. I bought that car to drive it while lots of them bought it to rub it in others faces....but whatever...those days are gone and now I have a car I can enjoy without emptying my wallet every month.

You said you were going to get 04 stang? Any thoughts on 05? Because you're going to have bad resale/trade value for 04 compare to 05.. just a thought seeing how many times you've traded the car..

I was thinking of the Cobra, but that would put my payments back to what I was paying for the G35 since I lost about 6100 in the trade-in. And plus, I always wanted a GT. Now I finally have one.

Glad to have ya man, hope you enjoy it

Just go ahead and have the $$$$$ for a drop in K&N, weld in Mufflers, a shifter (if you get a standard), and some Subframe Connectors

The rest will come after warranty
