I wanted to say hi and look around a bit. I have a 68 coupe on a salvage title that I am restomodding to a fastback. it's basically being built from the ground up. I am puttimg a 390 FE motor in it. I am looking at doing some of the standard early mustang stuff with it as well as some radical ideas that have even me roll my eyes.

I joined to interact on the forums and see if I can learn some tricks of the trade. I am planning on starting a thread on the build itself (if it is permitted, I have not checked yet) and hopefully adding my experiences to help others.

Hey Steve, welcome to stangnet.

I missed your post somehow, or I would have replied sooner.

I'll move your thread to the classic subforum. You'll get lots of help there.

Post pictures, we all like pictures here.

Good to have you with us.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Here are a few pics. The original Mustang(I6 coupe with another car's fenders), the skeleton for the rebuild and the motor (390)
