It should have PI heads originally. Do you suspect this motor has been replaced, or the heads have been changed?

Your 2003 GT has PI heads unless someone has swapped in a non-PI motor.

It may have a Dorman PI intake.
  • The part numbers on the plastic
  • the bolts that hold the COP into the intake go DIRECTLY into the plastic and resemble wood screws. A real Ford unit will have brass inserts and real machine screws.
  • The Dorman unit will have two ECT bosses on the metal coolant cross over.

Just FYI, these are both NPI intakes; they reversed the runner order when moving to PI (starts with Cyl # 5 instead of Cyl # 1). Some NPI cars got the aluminum crossovers (my 98 had one).
